This is a Public Bid Call. If this Bid Call does not receive a minimum of three (3) bids, the Owner may need to cancel the Bid Call.

The major components of the general construction contract include the following:

• Forcemain Investigation Work
  • Hydrovac and clean the existing lift station, confirm all invert elevations, confirm pipe diameters, and confirm dimensions of lift station barrel including depth and width depth
  • Forcemain pipe SDR, material designation and pipe pressure rating must be confirmed before proceeding with the upgrades. Contractor must expose the forcemain to obtain this information and submit to engineer for review. The location to be exposed should where the new cleanout/bypass chamber is proposed.
• South Lift Station Upgrades
  • Remove vegetation and overgrowth at lift station site
  • Resurfacing of existing gravel road and access road extension
  • New concrete pad to support backup power generator and electrical equipment
  • Restoring surface and grading of the lift station site
  • Installation of a new cleanout/bypass chamber
  • New submersible pumps, pump removal rails and related accessories
  • New process piping, valves and instrumentation
  • New power and control system
  • New backup power generator
• South Wastewater Lagoon Upgrades
  • Pumping down existing anaerobic cell and diversion of flow to the other anaerobic cell to facilitate work of berm repair and installing new concrete structure
  • Removal of the existing septage pipe and concrete pad
  • New concrete septage receiving chute on top of restored berm surface and new concrete truck pad
  • Site grading and surface restoration to build-up of access area for truck access 
• Supply and installation of all related civil, structural, process mechanical, HVAC and plumbing, electrical, instrumentation and control works
• Programming and SCADA integration work
• Electrical/instrumentation/control system upgrades and improvements to the existing wastewater lift station 
• Quality Control Testing by Independent Inspection and Testing Agencies, paid for by the Contractor, to ensure construction is completed in accordance with the Contract Documents and to all recommendations of the Geotechnical Investigation Report
• Field Testing, Pre-Start-up, Start-up, Operation and Maintenance Manuals, Commissioning, Training, and Warranty Services
